Welcome
Message From The Headteacher
Welcome to The Braybrook Centre. A Key Stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit for young people experiencing social, emotional, and mental health, in addition, we offer support and guidance for those presenting challenging behaviour in their current setting.
The Braybrook Centre offer early interventions to those who are at risk of exclusion and cater for those who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. As a short-term provision, our primary focus is to reintegrate young people into a permanent education provision.
Our core values are based around: Support, Trust, Achieve and Respect. We work in partnership with mainstream schools, academies and other organisations to ensure the needs of our young people are met.
Braybrook has high expectations for all students regarding their improvement in attitude, behaviour and academic progress. Our school based environment puts us at the forefront of Key Stage 3 alternative provision in Wolverhampton. We offer bespoke interventions to further develop students’ chances of successful reintegration.
Young people have access to a range of academic and vocational opportunities, as well as a creative curriculum to enhance their social, emotional and personal development.
We are supported by: specialist teachers and teaching assistants, Lawnswood Integrated Therapy Service, and other agencies such as CAMHS and Wolverhampton Connexions. Our core offer is supplemented by the Volunteering, Expedition, Skills and Physical Award (VESPA), along with a range of other extra-curricular activities. We are proud of the service that we provide at The Braybrook Centre and hope that you will have a positive experience when working with us.
Mrs M Bowes
